Protection & Security
To be able to work in this industry, you will need to pass the IHK professional qualification examination in accordance with $34a of the Trade, Commerce and Industry Regulation Act. Our partial qualification TQ1: Protecting people and property includes preparation for the certificate of competence examination as well as the requirements of the training framework plan for vocational training as a specialist for protection and security. The basis for this is the nationally standardised partial qualification concept. This ensures that the content corresponds to that of the vocational training programme and prepares you step by step for the external examination. This is because if you have completed all partial qualifications (TO 1 to TQ 6) and can prove that you have the relevant professional experience in the security industry, HIK can grant you authorisation to take the external examination upon application.
Pedagogical approach
In the first phase of the partial qualification (full-time: 4 months), you will learn the theoretical basics that are closely related to practice. In the second phase (full-time: 2 months), you will complete a work placement in the specialist area, where you will apply and consolidate what you have learnt.
Theory lessons take place in the form of teaching discussions. You will practise your skills in project work. Regular tests and exams will check your level of knowledge. This means you are always informed about your learning progress and know where you may need further support.
TARGET GROUPS
Customers without training or with a vocational qualification that was acquired so long ago that it is no longer sufficient as a basis for employability.
Certificates and proofs
At the end of the partial qualification, the FUWE GmbH examination board will assess your competences and you will take the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) examination in accordance with $34a Gewerbeordnung. You will also receive certificates as a fire safety assistant (m/f/d), first aider (m/f/d) and intervention worker.
